AFS students Aliyya from Indonesia and Federico from Italy have joined Ottawa Hills High School for the 2019-2020 school year.

Aliyya Izzizti is living with the McGraths. Federico Celauro is living with the Barrett/Goiks. Each hopes to take full advantage of their opportunities during their stay.

Aliyya has joined the OHHS Marching Band and Federico is playing football. Special thanks to AFS liaison Linda Sherry, International Student Exchange Association advisor Hannah Lehmann, and our host families.

Please welcome these two amazing students to Ottawa Hills. Ottawa Hills has had a relationship with AFS for more than 60 years. More than 120 students from around the world have spent a year attending Ottawa Hills.

At the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, Sept. 5, the board granted a tuition exemption for another AFS student to join the district.
