Operations

Welcome to the Operations Team section of the Ottawa Hills Local Schools. As a vital component of our district's success, the Operations Team is responsible for the comprehensive management of all non-instructional services that provide a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our students and staff.

Our core responsibilities encompass the daily functions that make a school district run smoothly:

  • Facilities and Maintenance: We manage and maintain all school buildings, grounds, and district athletic facilities, ensuring they are clean, secure, and ready for learning and community use. This includes all custodial services, repairs, and permanent improvement (PI) projects.

  • Health and Safety: We are committed to student and staff safety, continuously working to maintain and improve our physical security systems and emergency protocols.

Beyond these responsibilities, the Operations Team is dedicated to fiscal stewardship. We constantly seek efficiencies and cost-saving measures in utilities, PI planning, and resource management to ensure that your tax dollars are used to their fullest potential. Our work is a direct investment in the success of every student, teacher, and community member, as we provide the essential framework that allows for a premier educational experience at Ottawa Hills Local Schools.
