Welcome from Dr. Miller
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our district and my background. Whether you are a parent, student, staff member, or community supporter, I invite you to reach out if you have any questions or simply want to connect.
My journey with Ottawa Hills began in August 2000, when I began as a teacher. I spent 16 years teaching 7th grade English in room 148 of the Jr./Sr. High School. During those years, I served on the Education Association Executive Board and other various committees while also pursuing my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Toledo.
Since 2016, I have had the privilege of serving as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction and later as Assistant Superintendent, which has allowed me to work closely with our dedicated teachers and staff across the entire district.
It is an honor to step into the role of Interim Superintendent for the 2026-2027 school year. My top priority this year is to ensure a smooth, supportive transition for our students and staff. As we look ahead, we will revisit our strategic goals, reflect on our progress, and collaborate with our community on the fiscal responsibility needed to secure our district's future.
I am incredibly proud to be part of the Ottawa Hills community, and I am optimistic about everything we will accomplish together. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to connect.
Sincerely,
William Miller
Interim Superintendent
