This is OH
This is OH is a group of neighbors, educators, parents, community members, and hopeful thought leaders. They are committed to bringing education and thoughtful conversation to the Village of Ottawa Hills to increase awareness and action on the topics of biases, discrimination, and exclusion of any kind, but primarily based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, and/or sexual orientation. While their efforts won’t always be perfect, they promise to be sincere and considerate as we work through the process of growing as individuals and as a community.
Mission: To raise awareness, educate, and bring constructive action to efforts that support diversity, inclusion, equity, and anti-racism in the Ottawa Hills community.
Vision: This is OH envisions a welcoming and diverse Village that is equitable for everyone who lives and works in Ottawa Hills. Our goal is for every member of our community to feel included, respected, safe, and free from discrimination.
