Jr./Sr. High releases plans for Aug. 17-18 staggered start

The Junior/Senior High School begins the school year with a staggered start to allow students to have a proper orientation and learn about our 2020-2021 Safe Fall Start-Up Plan approved by the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to hear from a wide range of school officials, faculty advisors, student leaders, school nurses, and members of various clubs and activities. Only half the student body will be in attendance during the first two days of schools. Those students attending classes in person AND those using the “at home” option should follow the schedule below:  

Monday, Aug. 17

  • Students with last names beginning with A-K attend in-person classes or sign in to Google Meet broadcasts.
  • Students with last names beginning with L-Z complete video orientation and back-to-school training. 

Tuesday, Aug. 18

  • Students with last names beginning with L-Z attend in-person classes or sign in to Google Meet broadcasts.
  • Students with last names beginning with A-K complete video orientation and back-to-school training. Link will be shared via student email on Aug. 17.

8:10-9:10 a.m. Homeroom
9:15-9:50 a.m. Period 1
9:55-10:30 a.m. Period 2
10:35-11:10 a.m. Period 3
LUNCH
12:05-12:35 p.m. Period 4
12:40-1:10 p.m. Period 5
1:15-1:45 p.m. Period 6
1:50-2:20 p.m. Period 7
2:25-3 p.m. Period 8

Wednesday, Aug. 19 ("A Day")

A normal schedule for the Junior/Senior High School. All students follow the same schedule whether they are attending classes at school or at home. This day follows the A Day schedule.
