Green Bear athletes performed well individually and as a team at the Division II-III Ohio State Indoor Track and Field Championship.
Junior Elanora Smith placed 8th in the mile with a run of 5:23.66 (8 seconds faster than her previous personal record) and 13th in the 800 with a new indoor personal record of 2:27.32. Riley Nixon finished 11th in the two-mile run, dropping 20 seconds from his previous personal record with a 9:44.43 — a new OH indoor school record.
Senior Teddy Perozek jumped 5'10" to earn 9th place in the high jump.
And the boys 4x800 team finished 10th and set a new OH indoor track and field school record of 8:23.63. Congrats to juniors Sage Egan and Carson Mackey and sophomores Michael Kelley and Riley Nixon.

The event was organized by the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches and took place at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva.
