The boys' soccer team clinched the Regional championship Saturday (Nov. 6) when they beat Ottoville 1-0 in Tiffin. Junior Elijah Shetterly scored the winning goal early in the first half.

The team dominated both defensively and offensively, although Ottoville had several nerve-wracking breakaways.

Fortunately, they were shut down by exceptional defense from Will Berschback and the Talbott brothers (Harley and Truman). The Green Bears head to the state semifinals Wednesday to face off against Columbiana Crestview Rebels (south of Youngstown) at 7 p.m. at Port Clinton High School. Tickets are available online.
