The girls' team finished seventh and was only a handful of points away from fifth. The boys' team had an amazing meet, finishing third as a team.

The girls were led by junior Elanora Smith who broke two meet records. She won the 1600m with a time of 5:25 and then came back to win the 800m with a 2:27.

Also finishing with great performances were sophomores Ella Shetterly who took third in the 100m hurdles with a season-best time of 18.1, and Eliana O'Rourke who placed second in the 400m with a time of 1:06.

Many athletes contributed to the boys' success.

The 4x800m relay team of juniors Sage Egan, Carson Mackey, and Thomas Franklin and sophomore Riley Nixon took first and broke the meet record with a time of 8:33, beating the second-place team by more than 16 seconds.

Senior Teddy Perozek won the high jump with a jump of 6-00 and followed that up with second place in the long jump with a personal best of 20-7.75.

Riley took second in the mile and then followed that up with a first and a meet record in the 2 mile with a time of 10:10.

Also earning top 3 finishes were:

  • Senior Chase Lorenzen finishing third in the 200m dash;
  • Carson finishing second in the 800m dash;
  • Sage finishing third in the 800m dash; and
  • Thomas finishing second in the 3200m.
