The Fall Festival & Marketplace is back for its 17th year!
The roads close and the Hills come alive during this fun event for the whole family event. Celebrated rain or shine, the festival is Saturday, Sept. 25th, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This year's festival features pony and wagon rides, a petting zoo, live entertainment, a Kid’s Patch filled with games, a maze, giant obstacle course and much more.
The Lil' Kids Patch will offer younger children a safe and fun place to play. Kids also can enjoy the craft area and pumpkin painting or pop over to the Decoding Dyslexia tent for story time.
Don’t forget to sign up for the Corn Hole tournament, and bring your scarecrows and pumpkins to enter into the decorating contests. Come hungry and bring some cash for the 50/50 raffle and the Pie Throw Booth! This year the Marketplace exclusively features vendors from Ottawa Hills. The products you know and love, from your neighbors, all in one place!
Pumpkins, mums, and all-inclusive wristbands are on sale in the Elementary School drop-off circle from today and tomorrow from 2:50-3:30 p.m. You may pre-order online and pick up during these times, or purchase in person with cash, check or card. Wristbands will be available at the festival for a premium. Pumpkins and mums are first-come, first-serve.
Volunteers are still needed at select times and locations. Sign up and help if you can!
Food trucks include Rosie's Rolling Chef, Papi's Taco, Kona Ice and PM Frosted Fantasies.
