Vocal music director Josh Dufford assembled the junior and senior high choirs Dec. 8 for the annual Winter Concert to share a collection of music centered on themes of peace, joy, and compassion.

The Choraliers opened the program with "Carol of the Bells." The Junior High Choir sang "Rise Up Shepherd," "Winter Wonderland," and "White Christmas."

The Junior Chorale sang  "Ding Dong! Merrily on High," "Christmas Time is Here," and "Like It's Christmas."

The Concert Choir sang "Keep Your Lamps," "Here we come A-Caroling," and "It's the Holiday Season."

The Choraliers closed the evening with "S’Vivon," "Christmas Time is Here," "Mary, Did You Know?," "Cool Yule," "O Holy Hight," "Home Again," and "Sleigh Ride.

The concert ended with a beautiful performance of "Someday at Christmas" by all of the choirs.

In addition to the evening concert, the Choraliers were busy performing around town for private and public events. They sang for the faculty holiday party and the Foundry Design Team. Each year the Choraliers get invited to nearly a dozen events.

Congratulations to Josh Dufford and the OH vocalists. Many thanks to accompanists Heidi Clausius and to the Ottawa Hills Music & Theater Association for their continued support. Special thanks also to Andrew and Vanessa Prince for broadcasting the concert live on Facebook and creating a shortened edited version for all to enjoy.
