2021 - Eclipse Club cleaning Ottawa River

After being delayed by the flooding a couple weeks ago, The Environmental (ECLIPSE) Club at the Junior/Senior High School spent Saturday morning (Oct. 9) joining millions around the world in cleaning local waterways. They removed and recorded more than three full bags of garbage from the Ottawa River!

Advisor and science teacher Paul Genzman worked with Partners for Clean Streams and consulted with Village manager John Wenzlick to identify an area of need on the river within the boundaries of Ottawa Hills.
