Congratulations to members of the 2021 Homecoming Court (from left): seniors Reagan Clarke, Stella Cooper, Maggie Summers, Avril Niemann, and Sophie Heidenreich!
Avril is trying to make the most out of her last year at Ottawa Hills. Participating in the Fall musical ("The Hunchback of Notre Dame") and Choraliers, her senior year promises to be full of life and music. She is also part of the French Club and is a mentor for the 4-8th Grade acting program, Acting Out! She plans to use both language and arts in the future with plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga. Avril is looking forward to all the school events to attend this year, from football games to the Chicago Choraliers trip this spring. She also hopes to spend as much time with her friends as she can, making some lasting memories. Her favorite school memory is the time when Sammi Kameran axe bombed the 6th Grade hallway or possibly when Doug Hileman hit her car last year.
Stella has been at Ottawa Hills since 1st Grade and is a member of the field hockey and cheerleading teams. She has participated in OHbreathe since sophomore year, and has joined The Arrowhead, Volunteer Focus, and Model UN clubs for her senior year. Stella has loved every year she's spent in the district and all the close friends she has made all the way. She is looking forward to seeing all the great things her long-term peers will continue on to do in the future.
Sophie moved to Ottawa Hills her freshman year. In her free time, Sophie participates in Dance Team, cheer, Student Council, and Teen Pep, in addition to working at YogaSix. She enjoys going to football games on Friday nights and loves to hang out with her friends. Of all the activities she participates in, her favorite is being able to speak in Teen Pep and educate other students. She loves to get to know underclassmen and watch them as they grow. Sophie is extremely excited for all of the school dances this year and is honored to be a part of the Homecoming Court!
Reagan has played varsity soccer all four years. As a cheerleader, she is on the sidelines for every football game. She is also on the swim team and in Choraliers. She takes part in the musicals as well. As Senior Class president, she is looking forward to being a leader of the school. She can’t wait for Homecoming, Snowball Dance, and Prom. Reagan is honored to be a part of this year’s Homecoming Court.
Maggie has attended Ottawa Hills since kindergarten, and she’s truly honored to be a part of this year’s Homecoming Court! She enjoys singing in the Choraliers and plans on doing another musical this spring. One of her favorite high school memories was being in the Choraliers when they the stage at Carnegie Hall. In her free time, Maggie enjoys reading, going on nature walks, playing with her pets, and hanging out with her family and friends. This school year, Maggie plans on making as many memories as possible before starting the next chapter of her life!
