Fall Festival (Sept. 28) seeks sponsors, vendors, volunteers

Fall Festival logoOrganizers of the 16th annual Fall Festival and Marketplace are looking for sponsors, vendors, and volunteers. The rain-or-shine event is Saturday, Sept. 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Fall Festival includes a marketplace, crafts, and other specialty items, live entertainment, and a pumpkin decorating contest. The event will again include the always popular Auto Show; show participants pay a fee that supports educational programming aimed at fighting reckless and distracted driving. To read more about becoming the show or becoming a sponsor, vendor or volunteer, click here

Volunteers
The Fall Festival uses many volunteers to be successful. Plan to give a few hours to this fun, community event. Junior/Senior High students are welcome to pick shifts. Sign up early and get a good shift (or two).

Sponsorships
Support this year’s event by being a sponsor, patron or vendor.  Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $750; patron levels from $25 to $100. For more information, visit the OHSPA Fall Festival website or contact Megan Meinerding at 567-868-4446.

Vendors
If you are interested in participating as a vendor, here are the basic costs. (Learn more)

  • Artist/business booth  ($125)
  • Art/business corner booth ($150)
  • Non-profit booth ($50)
  • School group booth ($50)      
  • Food vendor-no electricity ($125)
  • Food vendor with electricity ($150)  
  • Food truck no electricity ($175)
  • Food truck with electricity ($200)
  • Table rental ($10)      
  • Returnable deposit ($50)

 

Auto Show
Returning this year is the always popular Auto Show; show participants pay a fee that supports educational programming aimed at fighting reckless and distracted driving.

All show entrants are entered in a drawing ($100 value). The show also has special guests lined up. The entry fee is $20 for per truck, car or motorcycle, and includes special show T-shirt, goodie bag, entry for many door prizes, and more for the first 100 cars registered. Trophies will be awarded in seven categories. Staging and day-of-show registration begin at 9 a.m. (Check out last year’s gallery)

The 2018 show raised more than $5,500 to increase awareness and promote an anti-distracted driving curriculum via Impact Teen Drivers
